Amir St. Clair, MLD
Director of Leadership Studies, Aurora University, Aurora, Ill.
Amir's goal as an educator is to have students start asking challenging questions that will yield meaningful results as they advance toward becoming leaders ready to change the world. His teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that true learning takes place when students tap into their imagination and are empowered to explore the deepest corners of themselves and the world around them, by examining theoretical perspectives, participating in reflective dialogue, and engaging in experiential learning activities. Because of this, he facilitates the process of questioning, imagination, and discovery. Amir received his bachelor’s degree in religious studies and philosophy from St. Norbert College, DePere, Wisc., and his master's degree in leadership studies from North Central College, Naperville, Ill. He specializes in leadership theory and application, moral philosophy and ethics, servant leadership, and group/team dynamics and behavior.
