After more than 13 years in banking, Nicole transitioned to the housing industry with a Missouri state finance agency, where she developed skills and abilities through leadership roles. In 2006 she began her career in federal service with the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Office of General Counsel in the Departmental Enforcement Center. Nicole has held management positions in the private and public sector. Her experience has afforded her the ability to effectively lead in-depth financial audits, program compliance, and special monitoring reviews. She prides herself on being a community advocate, volunteer, leader, and supporter of the cancer community. She founded Hatz for Hearts Foundation, a nonprofit organization that supports cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. Nicole received her doctorate from Pepperdine University, School of Education and Psychology Organizational Leadership program. A Missouri native, she received her master's degree of business administration from Fontbonne University, in St. Louis, where she lives.
