Camp & Environmental Programs

“Look deep into nature and you will understand everything.”— Albert Einstein

Camp Fire Camp and Environmental programs immerse participants in nature to learn, explore, and grow together while developing a lifelong respect for the outdoors. We believe in the power of nature to awaken the senses and the desire to learn.

Camp Fire’s camp programs connect young people with nature. We offer resident camp, day camp, environmental education, and short-term outdoor programs that include day trips. At camp, youth from different backgrounds develop important skills, such as self-reliance and problem solving, while interacting with natural surroundings and enjoying fun activities, such as swimming, archery, hiking, and more. Participants make their own decisions, have fun, and seek adventure! It’s easy to participate in Camp Fire camps. Simply locate a nearby camp in our camp directory.

Camp Fire offers outdoor leadership training for teens through our Counselor-in-Training (CIT) programs. In these programs teens learn how to work with youth and teach them important skills they will need to thrive.
