Camp Fire Names Andrea Woods, Regional Vice President of Operations, Compass Group/Morrison Living, as the newest member of the National Board of Trustees
Woods brings decades of business leadership and organizational strategy
expertise to the organization
KANSAS CITY, MO (May 3, 2021) – National inclusive youth development organization Camp Fire, is proud to announce Andrea Woods, Regional Vice President of Operations, Compass Group/Morrison Living, as a newly elected member of the Camp Fire National Board of Trustees.
Woods has an M.B.A. in Global Business and a Black Belt Certification in Lean Six Sigma. Andrea holds over three decades of experience in the food and beverage industry with a focus on organizational strategy, research and development, marketing, and implementation. Andrea has been with the Compass Group for 17 years. Morrison Living (a member of Compass Group) is a national leader in providing food, nutrition & wellness, and hospitality services to the senior living industry.
“Woods has not only excelled in her career but is passionate about her community and has served on a multitude of boards and committees,” said Greg Zweber, Camp Fire National Headquarters CEO & President. “We welcome Andrea and look forward to leaning in on her business and leadership expertise. She will be a valuable addition to our national board.”
Woods is also in the process of writing her dissertation to achieve a Doctorate in Business Administration from California Southern University in 2021. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc, Compass Group’s Leadership Legacy Network (LLN), and Women’s Foodservice Forum. She is a founding member of the Morrison Diversity and Inclusion Action Council; and served as Board Chair to Girls, Inc. of Greater Atlanta (GIGA). Additionally, Woods has served as an advisor to the International Council on Active Aging (ICAA) and the Hospitality Education Foundation of Georgia (HEFG).
Residing in Georgia with her husband, Tony, Woods loves to spend her free time reading, cooking, playing competitive tennis, and spoiling her grandkids.
