Camp Sealth Wins Four Golden Teddy Awards
Congratulations to Camp Fire’s Camp Sealth! ParentMap has awarded Camp Sealth with Four Golden Teddy Awards. More than 19,000 ParentMap readers from across the area cast their votes for the region’s Best Summer Camps. Camp Sealth, owned and operated by Camp Fire Central Puget Sound, won Best Overnight Camp, Best Tweens & Teens Camp, Best Camps for Kids with Special Needs and Best Family Camps.
ParentMap shares, “A mountain of votes piled up for Vashon Island’s Camp Sealth, making it a top pick among overnight camps. One voter had this high praise, ‘Next to Disney, it’s the happiest place on earth!’ But forget rides and characters, Camp Sealth excels at what kids really love: outdoor play. For more than a hundred years, campers have reveled in all the best sleep-away camp activities, including arts and crafts, horseback riding, water fun, camp fires, sports, new friendships and more.”
ParentMap also added that voters love Camp Sealth’s staff referring to them as extremely supportive, well-trained and attentive to the campers’ needs.
Camp Sealth is still accepting campers for the summer season. Visit www.campfireseattle.org or call 800.451.CAMP to register.
