New Trustees Raise the Camp Fire Voice

Camp Fire National Headquarters recently announced the election of three new members to its Board of Trustees. Each represents a considerable level of global and national executive leadership experience and expertise, a strong bias for innovation and action, and a deep commitment to America’s youth.
Jane Parker, currently CEO of Interbrand Health, New York City, specializes in transforming companies’ top and bottom lines. She brings to Camp Fire a long history of optimizing under-performing assets and building worldwide businesses through strategic insight as well as management expertise. Her specialties include leading organizations, brand stewardship, organizational development, and strategic leadership.

Mara Cohara, Attorney, Lathrop & Gage LLP, Kansas City, has significant experience I coordinating large-scale “bet the company” matters and defending high-profile lawsuits that involve media and community attention. She is active throughout the civic and legal communities, holding leadership positions with the Heartland Women’s Leadership Council; Lawyers Encouraging Academic Performance; and now, Camp Fire.

Rick Taylor is currently the Executive Director at Camp Fire Central Puget Sound, Seattle. Previously, Rick was Director of Camping for the same council. As both a valued member of a successful, innovative West Coast council and a leader within the national organization, Rick will serve as the Camp Fire CEO representative to the board.
