National Leadership Conference (NLC):

The National Leadership Conference (NLC) is a meeting of all council representatives located in various locations around the country. Council presidents, board members, executives, and senior program leadership are invited to hear special keynote speakers and participate in a variety of training and recognition opportunities. This system-wide conference often presents direction-setting opportunities for the future of the organization.

For the 2019 conference, we are asking for experts within the system to share their knowledge and passion, as it pertains to youth voice. If you are interested in presenting during a formal session, during a workshop, leading an informal conversation, or participating in another way, please fill out this survey.

If you are interested in presenting but aren’t sure exactly what you want to bring to the table, here are some ideas to get your brain pumping:

High school youth who are part of a Camp Fire council.

 

Youth Leadership Experience (YLE):

Camp Fire’s Youth Leadership Experience is a bi-annual convening for high school youth from across the country that are eager to expand their leadership skills and learn from each other. This year’s theme is Youth Voice + Civic Engagement. Camp Fire will host a few outside and adult experts that will conduct workshops and round tables. However, this conference is yours. Camp Fire knows that young people are shaping our world, and we would love to learn from YOU.

During the conference, there will be multiple opportunities for youth to share their knowledge, passion, and expertise as it pertains to youth voice and civic engagement. If you are interested in presenting during a formal session, during a workshop, leading an informal conversation, or participating in another way, please fill out this survey. Youth may present by themselves or in a group. Assistance from Camp Fire NHQ will be available to help with preparations.

Promise to Practice (P2P):

Camp Fire’s annual Promise to Practice (P2P) Workshop is where council program professionals and leaders gather to get inspired, connect, learn and share!

For the 2019 conference, we have three options for experts within the system to share their knowledge and passion. If you are interested in presenting in one or more ways on one or more topics, please fill out this survey.

If you are interested in presenting but aren’t sure exactly what you want to bring to the table, here are some ideas to get your brain pumping:

  • Infusing nature/environment within programs
