Camp Fire’s “You Belong Here Celebration” was scheduled for this Saturday, June 27. However, we feel that at this time in history, our role at Camp Fire is to use our platform to amplify the voices of other organizations and events, so we are going to cancel our scheduled event, and encourage you to attend one of the events below.

We are in times of great change. Camp Fire wants to celebrate our young people and all of the identities they hold. We also want to recognize the pain and hurt that many young people have been, and are now experiencing. At Camp Fire, we know that young people want to shape the world.

This weekend, we want to lift the voices of Black and LGBTQ+ people through sharing their celebrations, and encouraging our youth and families to learn, grow, and advocate for those whose voices are too often unheard.

Join us in celebrating World Pride this Saturday, or by streaming these Youtube channels to raise money for the NAACP or The Trevor Project in place of our scheduled celebration. We are excited to join these events in solidarity with our Black and LGBTQ+ youth, families, and staff and hope you will join us too.
