Your words are powerful.

Giving away 25 laptops is a fun way to celebrate #KidDay. What is even more fun is reading and listening to adults tell us about the amazing kids they know 🄹. We are so touched and emotional reading people’s entries. And if we have to get teary-eyed reading these*, then so do you! Maybe you will even be inspired to submit your own entry to the contest (there is still time!)

Grab a cup of coffee or your favorite bubbly water. Settle in, and be ready to be inspired ā¤ļø

My son is incredible. He approaches life with resilience and a sense of humor, often reminding me that there’s no need to fret or worry — it will all work out! He is curious, creative and caring. His friends can count on him, and so can I!

Dear Taylor,

You are one of the best teens in our neighborhood. You shoveled out our many of our neighbors after our neighborhood got 14 inches of snow a few weeks ago. You are a wonderful teen that has helped so many of us and we are grateful for your kindness to us during this time.

Love, all your neighbors!!

My Dearest Granddaughter,

I wanted to write you a letter to tell you just how extraordinary you are.

As the oldest of three little girls, you carry such an important role — and you do it with more patience and kindness than I could have ever imagined. You are so gentle and helpful with your little sisters. You guide them, amuse them, look out for them, and somehow manage to do it all with a calm strength that amazes me.

But what I love most about you is your incredible mind.

You are wickedly funny — the kind of funny that sneaks up on everyone and makes us laugh out loud. You are entertaining in a way that feels effortless, like you have a little spark of magic inside you. Conversations with you are never boring!

Your curiosity about the world around you is one of my favorite things. The skies, the trees, the plants, the tiniest bugs — you notice everything. You can recite a hundred facts about animals without even stopping for air! The way your brain stores all that knowledge and then shares it so enthusiastically is amazing to witness. You remind all of us to pay closer attention to the wonders around us.

And then there is your creativity — which might be the brightest star of all. You draw beautiful pictures. You write poems. You sing silly songs you invent on the spot. You can create an entire skit as you go along and have everyone watching you, smiling and laughing. Your imagination is alive and dancing all the time.

When you combine that brilliant mind, that endless creativity, your wonderful sense of humor, and your deeply kind heart… you truly are a one-in-a-million child.

Never stop wondering. Never stop creating. Never stop making up songs and telling animal facts and making people laugh. The world is brighter because you are in it.

I love you more than words can say, and I am so proud of the beautiful person you are becoming.

With all my love, Forever your biggest fan šŸ’›

Love, Grandma and Grandpa

The kid in my life is incredible because of his heart. He’s kind, thoughtful, and has this natural way of making people feel included and valued. He’s growing into someone who stands up for others, works hard, and still keeps that playful spark that reminds me not to take life too seriously. Watching him become his own person is the greatest gift.

Dear H and L,

You two have brought such joy to my life. Over the past 7 years as, your mom, I have learned so much. You two have such different approaches to life. H you are an observer. You watch and question things before trying it. L you jump first ask questions later. Your spirit of adventure is so infectious. Even though you both are so opposite your both have such big love for your family and nature. My favorite part of my day is watching you both play and recreate what we are learning at the time. Also going on hikes is so much fun and I have truly enjoyed adding that to our routines the past year. Thank you for challenging me and teaching me every day. I hope you continue to always ask questions and know it’s okay to sometimes feel small in this huge universe.

Love, Mom

My 10-year-old daughter is amazing. She tries hard in everything she does. She’s been struggling with reading and is behind but she doesn’t give up and is trying her best. Yesterday she came home and read me 2 pages and that made her feel so good. She’s a great helper and friend and even better daughter. She loves helping people. She is kind and has a heart of gold.

To My Incredible Son,

There are some people who walk into a room and change the energy without even trying. You are one of those people.

At just 8 years old, you carry something special inside you — a quiet strength, a deep way of thinking, and a heart that shines bright. When I watch you sit and focus, whether you’re learning, watching something new, or just thinking to yourself, I see a young king in the making. You observe. You absorb. You understand more than most people realize.

You are incredible because you are kind.

You are incredible because you are smart beyond your years.

You are incredible because you are calm when others aren’t.

You are incredible because your smile can light up a whole room.

You have a natural confidence about you — not loud, not boastful — but steady. Solid. Powerful. You don’t have to demand attention because your presence already speaks.

I see greatness in you. Not just in what you will do… but in who you already are.

You are creative.

You are thoughtful.

You are strong.

You are loved more than words can ever explain.

There will be days when the world feels big. There will be moments when you doubt yourself. But I want you to always remember this:

You come from strength.

You are built with purpose.

And you are deeply, unconditionally loved.

Watching you grow is one of the greatest honors of my life. I am proud of you not just for what you achieve — but for your character, your heart, and your spirit.

Never shrink yourself. Never dim your light.

Never forget who you are.

You are incredible — today, tomorrow, and always.

Love, Dad
